Price cuts, promotions, Internet gaming, and Sony supply problems have helped to make Sega's Dreamcast the #2 selling gaming console, moving ahead of the Nintendo 64 system.
Sega sales have boomed so much that the company's marketshare has doubled to 29.9% since August, with sales up 156.6% from 7/23-9/30/2000.
Numbers from Sega, especially in light of this massive sales boom, would be a good indicator. Look at that piece of crap playstation1, and guess what, PS2 has already been hacked. – by FYIYou can bash Sony, and I agree they are too big, and sometimes stupid, but they have given a lot to the geek community. Beta is not much better, but a little can go a long way…we'll have DVD-R in the mainstream ( I hope) soon anyway, so it is a pointless argument now.
I am sure that if you obtain the Utopia Boot Loader ver 1.1, you will be able to load any game. MD may not be mainstream, but anyone who has used it for a significant amount of time understands that it SHOULD be. – by always does hide important noticeto public(which ever make other competiters hype)Case1: Sony was announced that PS2 will be out 1999 Dec.
(So people wait for PS2 instead of buying N64 or Dream Cast)but it does not came out Dec.
